ITINERARY:
Day-1 Bhubaneswar Konark-Puri After breakfast proceed to Puri. En-route visit Sun temple at Konark (the UNESCO World heritage monument), Chandrabhaga beach. On arrival at Puri, visit to the Lord Jagannath temple (One of the four Dham. Non hindu are not allowed inside the temple premises). Evening free at leisure to stroll at golden beach /visit to the beach market. O/n at hotel in Puri.
Day-2 Excursion trip to Chilika Today, drive to Satapada (One end of Chilika Lagoon). Enjoy the motor boat ride in Asia's largest saltwater lagoon and explore Sea mouth, dolphins, local birds etc. Back to Puri. Rest of the day leisure at golden beach/free for independent activities. O/n at hotel in Puri.
Day-3 Puri- Gopalpur on Sea Today, proceed to Gopalpur on Sea (175 km/ 5 hrs). O/n at Gopalpur on Sea.
Day-4 Excursion to Chandragiri & Taptapani Proceed to Chandragiri, (100 Km) a Tibetan refugee colony known as Mini Tibet, situated in between the lush green forest - a unique Destination for the Buddhist, where we can visit Jirang Monastery one of the largest Buddhist Monastery in Southeast Asia. Later Proceed to Taptapani (30 km) the hot sulphur water spring. Back to Gopalpur. O/n at Gopalpur on Sea.
Day-3 Puri- Gopalpur on Sea Today, proceed to Gopalpur on Sea (175 km/ 5 hrs). O/n at Gopalpur on Sea.

Day-5 Gopalpur- Bhubaneshwar Proceed to Bhubaneswar (175 kms/5 hrs). Visit Lingaraj temple-the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar (non-hindu are not allowed inside the temple premises), Mukteswar, Rajarani. O/n at hotel in Bhubaneshwar.
Day-6 Bhubaneswar- Satkosia Wildlife Sanctuary. Today, proceed to Satkosia (120 km/4 hrs). Take the boat cruise on river Mahanadi at Satkosa Gorge where we will come across plenty of crocodiles & ghariyals. Later, trail along the nature's trail. O/n at hotel/ camp in Satkosia.
(Note: Satkosia is untouched by the lust of civilisation. Do not expect luxury services in Satkosia. Viist Satkosia only if you want to enjoy ecotourism)

Day-7 Satkosia- Bhitarkarnika National Park Transfer to Bhitarkarnika (170km/ 5 hrs)- the 2nd largest mangrove ecosystem of India. The huge area of mangrove forests and wetland is intersected by a network of creeks with Bay of Bengal on the East. O/n at hotel in Bhitarkarnika (Dangmal / Gupti / Khola).
Day-8 Bhitarkarnika National Park Transfer to Khola forest Gate to board on countryside boat for Mangrove Forest Safari. Enjoy bending creeks, watch out for variety of species of birds. Get down at Bagagahana Bird Sanctuary. Climb the watch Tower to look for Pelicans and different types of Storks. Later visit Bhitarkanika Forest Block to check out Old Temple, Lotus Pond and Hunting Tower of past rulers. Climb the Tower and you might see Wild Boar, Jungle cat, Spotted Deer and birds also. Also, visit Dangmal Crocodile Breeding and Research center. Return to hotel by afternoon. In the late afternoon visit the local Jagannath temple to participate in the Aarti Darshan. O/n at hotel in Bhitarkarnika (Dangmal / Gupti / Khola).
Day-9 Bhitarkarnika- Bhubaneshwar Proceed to Bhubaneswar (170 kms/5 hrs)
